Trail Etiquette

Respect others, and respect the land:

- Stay near existing trails. A bit of wandering is fine, but the terrain is rough, and you are fragile.

- Take out what you bring in. No one enjoys seeing trash, and some wastes are environmentally harmful.

- Dogs should be under voice control, and dog waste should be pushed several feet off the trail, or bagged and taken out. Don't leave full bags on the trail - nobody wants to pick those up!

- Hunting is allowed on surrounding lands, and hunters may use trails for access. Be courteous.

- Rockhounding and mineral collecting are not allowed in the preserve.
