Trail Etiquette
Respect others, and respect the land:
- Take out what you bring in. No one enjoys seeing trash, and some wastes are environmentally harmful.
- Stay near existing trails. A bit of wandering is fine, but the terrain is rough, and you are fragile.
- Hunting is allowed on surrounding lands, and hunters may use trails for access. Be courteous.
- Keep dogs close, and under control. Loose dogs can scare wildlife and other people's pets.
- Push your dog's waste several feet off the trail, or bag it and take it out. Don't leave full bags on the trail - nobody wants to pick those up!
