They're Here

The season's first snow rolls.

They appear every winter in a few locations when the conditions are right.

These were spotted along the Cakewalk Trail, near the Scramble called The Keep.

Some were dinner-plate-sized, or even larger.

A snow Swiss roll, anyone?

The other reliable location to find snow rolls is along the first steep section of the Angle Iron Trail, but I didn't get up there to check.
