Brief and Beautiful

Updated: May 26, 2024

It's a great time to get out into the woods. The ground has dried out (somewhat), the snow is gone (mostly), the brooks are running, and the views aren't obscured by all the budding leaves. You may see a few spring wildflowers, and hear the first warblers arriving from the south. Things will be changing quickly, so get out and enjoy a brief moment of relative stillness in the woods before the abundance of summer rushes in. This time of year has a delicate beauty all its own.
